Valldemossa

Valldemossa is a municipality of the Mallorca island situated at 17 km from the capital, Palma, and 435 meters above sea level, is part of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range that stretches along 80 km throughout the northern coast of the island. The origin of the name (Mussa Valley) is explained by the Islamic influence of Mallorca. Port of Valldemossa

Feasts of Valldemossa

Feast of the “Beata” (July 28). When she was canonized, 1930, Catalina Thomàs became the first saint of Mallorca. The festivities in his honor are the most important for the people of Valldemossa.
